My cousin just got a brand new Vurtego V2 and it's amazing. We both wanna get into pogoing and I don't have much cash right now at all, and just for now should i get a super pogo 2 or flybar 1200? Which one is better?
And I know, just get a vurtego. I'm gunna when I get another job which hopefully will be soon. But I'm just asking what would be better for right now?
I'm about 210 and 5'10".
I would actually suggest getting a normal super pogo (1505). You can go just as high, and do alot more with it then a super pogo 2.
Don't even consider a flybar 1200.
Okay thanks. Just curious, what's so horrible about a 1200?
Because i would just be bouncing with it for now. No tricks until i get my own vurtego. Do they really break that much? Even from just bouncing on flat ground?
A few people like them but not many.
Overall, they are big, heavy, clunky, and hard to maneuver. This is less true with the 800 and 1000, but they are still pretty big compared to a vurtego.
And yes, they break all the time. When i was really light, about 110 pounds, a set of thrusters would last me a few weeks. As I got heavier, they started to break a lot more often, and more recently (160) new ones sometimes break in a single session.
At 210 pounds they wont last you very long.
The super pogo 2 has its own set of annoyances and problems as well.
The super pogo 1505 is a great entry level pogo anyways, and you can do a ton of stuff on it. It's a great pogo to have around even if you are using a vurtego. Watch some tech/flatland stuff and you'll see.
Alright man thanks alot!
skip the sp2 and go for the 1505. The sp2 isn't good for tech, mainly only for"big air" type stuff on a spring stick and street. With the regular 1505 even if you do get a vurtego you'll have a solid stick for doing tech and tech street, and staying balanced in all levels of the sport
thats what i was thinking, having a small "collection" of different kinds of pogos for different uses.
