Extra Help With Balance
Graphic and directions by Nick McClintock
1. If you find yourself falling over, either to your right or your left, just try to bounce straight back up.
2. While in the air, correct yourself by leaning to the side opposite the one you were originaly falling over to. (If you were falling to the left lean to the right to correct yourself).
3. Finally, land slightly tipped to the side and continue this process, switching sides, until you are once again jumping in a verticle plane.
Note: This process also applies when correcting forward and backward falling. Use a mixture of all these small corrections to maintain balance.
Note from Dave: To help correcting your bounce, point your stopper the direction you are falling. It will help force into a straighter jump.
