In a time not too far back, when everyone was riding GG’s, we had devised a system to categorize tricks. This system broke all tricks into five groups: big air, technical, spins, stalls, and reverses. Overall there was considered to be two styles of jumping; Big Air and Technical. When sticks like the Flybar and Vurtego came along, however, these classifications began to break down.

Location. It’s a term defined by the extreme as somewhere that has obstacles or terrain that they can grind shred or thrash by any means necessary. This generally involves stairs, rails, gaps, ledges, loading docks, hills, roofs… the list is pretty much endless. As the world of Xpogo develops into more of a legitimate sport and we keep pushing the limits, the hunt for prime location follows pretty much the same guidelines as most other extreme sports.

While the event, "Pogopalooza", which is a gathering of pogo enthusiasts stretching as far as the four corners of North America, may be virtually unheard of to the common public, it has become an annual holiday for www.xpogo.com members. Hosted by Wholly Cow Ice Cream & Bar-B-Que! in Schodack (Albany), New York, these crazy bouncers delivered a message to local news and radio stations, and the Schodack community.
